There Are 25 Million Copies Of Halo In The Wild

More from Microsoft’s Robbie Bach during yesterday’s Microsoft CES keynote. While rapping his way through his presentation, Bach announced that since the release of Halo: Combat Evolved on the Original XBox, over 25 million games in the series have been sold.
That’s across all 3 games, and both platforms, so we’re looking at an average of 5 million sales for each. Impressive! Even more so when you remember the PC games didn’t sell anywhere near as many as the console ones, so the Xbox iterations are more likely averaging 7-8 million copies.
And even better still, with Halo 3:ODST and Halo Wars due this year, is only going to go up.
