Risk - Halo Wars Edition

Wow, 2009 will be quite a busy year for Halo. Along with Halo Wars for the xbox 360, Halo:ODST is set to release later this year, and now add one more – Risk: Halo Wars. This board game follows up the reasonably well selling Halo Interactive Strategy Game released last year.

USAopoly is releasing the Halo Wars-branded version of the legendary strategy game Risk this Summer. It will feature 3 factions (UNSC, Convenant and Flood), 6 sectors, 42 territories, and 250 little plastics soldiers, all of which adds up to infinite strategic Halo bliss.

Said to be built on the Risk: Black Ops style of play, which allows for shorter session games, Risk: Halo Wars will feature basic, advanced and classic gameplay rules. Expect to see it show up at stores in a few months for around $39.95 USD, soon thereafter to be coated in Risk and Halo fanboy drool.
