If you missed your opportunity to buy the first energy sword, well the nice folks at TrueSwords are mass producing the thing. As they put it, inspired by the ultimate close quarters video game melee weapon, TrueSwords is selling this seemingly unlicensed Halo Covenant Energy Sword for the low low price of $49.99.

The sword features a titanium color finish on stainless steel blades, that, according to the seller:

This special treatment, sometimes called “spectrum treatment”, causes the colors to shift at different angles and lighting. This effect is similar to the blade effect seen in the video game series. The blades will appear to be different colors depending on the amount of light and reflected colors they are around.

Priced at US$49.99, it’s 27 inches long and either a serious accident or a huge lawsuit waiting to happen. We can’t decide which. The overall length is 27″, with 19.25 in. blades, and 7″ handle. And you even get a nice black wall plaque to keep it on. Yea, Right.
