Halo 3 Vehicle Guide
In the heat of battle, you need to know all the things afforded to you in your arsenal. You also need to get familiar with all the things that your opponents may use so that you would have an idea on how to create the most damage.
One of the most important parts of playing Halo 3 is the different vehicles available for use for you and your team as well as the enemy.
Below the Halo 3 Vehicles are discussed briefly. Familiarize them as they will help you in your quest.
Banshee – The Banshee is a one person air going craft. Its weapon includes plasma cannons as well as fuel rod cannon.
Chopper – The chopper is a one man brute vehicle with a giant front wheel. The chopper is equipped with auto cannons that can damage other vehicles and soldiers as well.
Elephant – you will encounter the elephant on a multiplayer map – the Sandtrap. It has a large assortment of weapons and can even hold other vehicles inside it.
Gauss Warthog – It is a hybrid version of the warthog. It is similar to the warthog in a lot of aspects; the only difference is that it has a gauss turret rather than a regular warthog’s machine gun.
Ghost – A hover covenant vehicle that is able to fire plasma blast that can splatter soldiers. It is good for transportation because it is very speedy.
Hornet – A weapon made to counter the banshee. It is able to hover and move backwards too. The hornet has two machine guns and two missile launcher.
Mongoose – A human vehicle than can carry two people at one time. The mongoose does not have weapons of its own.
Prowler – Another brute vehicle. It is similar to the Chopper, but this vehicle is able to hold four passengers.
Scorpion Tanks – The Scorpion tank has been upgraded. It is now a two person vehicle. It is also able to move faster than the one in Halo 2.
Warthog – Another vehicle reincarnated from Halo 2. It is able to hold to passengers. A Gunner and a driver.

On Sandtrap, go on to Forge and put a Hornet and Banshee on top of the Elephant. Then put a Gauss Hog in the lower compartment. After that, put a chopper next to the mongoose. Then put two active camoes and two overshields near the Gauss Hog. Then, on the upper compartments, put every type of grenade in the driver’s compartment. After that put a fuel rod gun, rocket launcher, shotgun, spartan laser, gravity hammer and energy sword in the top compartment. There you have it. The ultimate assault weapon.
