Germans are known for doing many things well; their engineering, their cars, their women, but not so much about their sense of humor.

And this recent Halo-themed cartoon by Marunde in the magazine “Hörzu” is just more proof.
For those who aren’t fluid in German, allow me to translate for you.

German Lady: “…Our new neighbor supposedly works at a company that develops videogames.”
Man: “He definitely has a cool SUV/off-road vehicle.”

Huh? That passes as comedy? While I’m certain that it’d be kick ass to fly/drive a Banshee, I suppose something gets lost in the translation.

For anyone who is fluent in German, did we miss something that you can help explain?
