Halo 3 Mythic Map - Sandbox

As of Last week, we Halo 3 fans now have 3 new places to kill each other, with the long-awaited Mythic Map Pack released on Xbox Live Marketplace.

Flaming Head Spartan Killing Covenent

Halo owners have yet another statistic to brag about. We’ve committed mass Covenant mayhem to the tune of 10 billion aliens killed in Halo 3’s story driven campaign mode. Covenant-hating Halo fans reached that milestone this weekend, according to Bungie.

Halo Platforms

If there’s one thing to be sure of, its that there is indeed a future for the Halo franchise. It may not be as straight-forward as you’d imagine though. (if a Microsoft job advertisement is anything to go by.)

This particular listing is for a software development engineer, suggesting that Microsoft is perhaps working on a Halo project that transcends the idea of a single platform or genre, and suggests they are instead working on an all-encompassing Halo world, using Xbox, web and mobile to build a new Halo community.
