As they put it, inspired by the ultimate close quarters video game melee weapon, TrueSwords is selling this seemingly unlicensed Halo Covenant Energy Sword for the low low price of $49.99.

The sword features a titanium color finish on stainless steel blades, that, according to the seller:

This special treatment, sometimes called “spectrum treatment”, causes the colors to shift at different angles and lighting. This effect is similar to the blade effect seen in the video game series. The blades will appear to be different colors depending on the amount of light and reflected colors they are around.

McFarlane Toys Brings Us Mini Halo Action Figures, Hayabusa Armor, Hunters



McFarlane Toys Halo Action Figures

McFarlane toys just seems to keep on releasing Halo action figures, and it looks like people keep buying them. The latest products to roll off the money-printing machine include some more Master Chief/Spartan variants, but this time, the best description seems to be: good things come in small packages. The range of 2.5″ figures that come in three-packs (for hot desktop Red v Blue action) up to a deluxe 8″ Hunter figure, complete with intricate, neck detailing.

McFarlane Toys Helps You Play Halo Wars On Your Desktop

“If they want war, we’ll give them war…” at least one that can take place on your desk top as opposed to your Xbox 360. As it turns out, Microsoft Game Studios and McFarlane Toys plan to continue their lucrative partnership this spring with the announcement of action figures based off of the upcoming Halo Wars RTS take on the Halo universe. For the moment, they’re closer to traditional army men figures than actual action figures. The toys stand at about 2.5 inches tall, with articulation at the waist. The first wave of figures consists of 4 sets of 3 figures each, with each pack carrying a retail price of around $10. What you see above is a pair of unpainted prototypes, courtesy of GamePro.
