Halo Contact Harvest Book
After the bungie.com and Spawn.com (as in McFarlane’s Spawn) Valentine’s Day Massacre, and yes, it really was a massacre according to the spawn guys. Spawn is hosting a 20 page “taste” of Halo’s latest book “Contact Harvest.”

Bungie Reveals Legendary Map Pack - Ghost Town For Halo 3

Bungie’s Ghost Town Map Overview

Bungie has released a few screen shots of one of the maps in the Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack, due out this coming spring. (One of which is a full map overview with weapons placement.)

This general purpose map, Ghost Town, is basically the ruins of a twenty-fourth century water processing plant. You can go to Bungie News for a mini interview up with Bungie Employees Vic DeLeon and Cameron Pinard along with designer Lars Bakken about their inspirations behind this spiffy new map.

HALO3: MASTER CHIEF ON THE FIELD OF BATTLE

Master Chief Figurine

Kotobukiya has been making examples of the Master Chief since last summer, and has gotten pretty darn good at it.
And here’s their latest Master Chief. Yea, its pretty darn good too. The Halo 3 statue features changeable hands and weapons. It’s not out yet, but when it does come out around Summer 2008, it looks like it will retail for about US$90

Here’s Kotobukiya’s press release:
HALO 3: MASTER CHIEF - FIELD OF BATTLE - ARTFX STATUEA KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! From the worldwide smash hit X-box 360 game HALO 3 comes the second release in the high-end ARTFX Statue series. Locked in deadly combat with the Covenant, the indomitable Spartan super-soldier MASTER CHIEF stands in the field of battle.
With a discharged grenade at his feet and the bubble shield dissipating, Master Chief readies his armaments and begins to rise. Master Chief holds two M7 SMGs (Caseless Submachine Guns), or you can switch the bonus arms and have him grip his Assault Rifle. When not using the Rifle, it can be stored on his back. Additional hands are also included for expression, and as a special bonus for fans that collected the first Kotobukiya ARTFX Statue, you can swap weapons and hands with the first release!
This 10 34″ tall pvc statue is fully assembled and ready to display out of the box. Highly customizable, and highly detailed…and highly desired by all Halo fans!
